Koh Mak Location

The island of Koh Mak is located in the Eastern region of Thailand in the Trat province. The third largest of the Koh Chang Islands, with a size of approximately 16 square kilometers and a local population of around 1,200.

Located approximately 45 kilometers from the mainland and is only accessible by boat. From the mainland, it's approximately 320 kilometers from the capital of Bangkok. Flights will be to the Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK).

The island is a hidden gem off the beaten path from typical tourist hot spots. Noted for its breathtaking beaches stretching along the bays and crystal clear waters perfect for swimming and relaxation. Expect a very laid-back atmosphere where the locals make you feel right at home on their paradise island of Koh Mak.
